Big Four Ice Caves | Granite Falls, Washington

A few months ago, I made a simple bucket list for Luke and I to work on this winter. At the top of the list: go on a snowy hike.

Possible locations bounced around in my head until I came across the perfect one scrolling through some of my favorite Washington-based Instagram accounts. One look at Big Four Mountain covered in snow and my mind was set. We grabbed the kid pack, the pup, and two of Luke’s aunties and headed to the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest for our winter hike.

We were not disappointed! The easy (but slippery) hike to the ice caves definitely gave us our snow fix.
